Voter Resources

The goal of the Voter Resources committee is to encourage greater participation in civic life by providing accurate information about election law.

Our Work

The Voter Registration committee reconstituted in 2026 as the Voter Resources committee to serve as center for learning how to take part in elections in New York. The committee maintains a table in the Community Hub with voter registration forms, a calendar with specific deadlines, and information about how to run for office and who is running in this year's election. The table is staffed on Wednesday afternoons, but is available whenever the Hub is open.

Members of the committee hold a voter registration drive for young voters at the Youth Climate Summit each year. We are available to help high school students set up registration drives to register and pre-register their classmates using materials provided by the Civics Center.

We will be putting out a series of short video PSA's on timely topics through the year. If AVfC chooses to endorse candidates in this year's election, our committee will act as logistical support to coordinate with those candidates.
