"I'm Prepared to Support the 'NY for All Act'"

Assemblymember Michael Cashman (NY115) has put out a statement indicating his support for the "NY for All" Act, currently languishing in the New York legislature.

This bill would keep local law enforcement resources in local hands and limit cooperation with ICE and other federal enforcement agencies.

The measure is backed by many immigrant rights groups and passage has become more urgent as the lawlessness of ICE agents grows daily. AVfC supports "NY For All" and we applaud Cashman for taking this position.
